Estranged from his wife, relocated to St. Thomas, Ontario, from the small town of Belleford, and with a promotion to sergeant, police detective Carl North has a team to run in order to solve a double murder and arson at a farmhouse outside town, as well as a mysterious fire at a local strip club.
