Though all of the other sewer rats are grey, Rubinata the Rat is red. Rubinata does all she can to look like everyone else, but one day she is thrown into a horrible prison, the Shining Brilliance, merely because she has red fur. Luckily, Chambourcie de Danon, a foreign rat, makes Rubinata her greatest ally and is able to convince rats worldwide to help free and accept Rubinata.
