The Wotan Warhead is a gripping novel

that takes place during the early stages of

World War II when U-boat wolfpacks

achieved enormous successes over Allied

shipping and very nearly brought Britain

to her knees. Largely responsible was a

new magnetic torpedo, armed with the

Wotan Warhead, one of which could seek

out and sink a ship by itself. It becomes

a top priority project of the British Ad-

mirality to examine one of the new tor-

pedoes in order to effect countermeasures
