Why had Emmett Harvey, a successful

young broker and a devoted husband,

turned into a man of ice? Why did he

the Colorado Beef House, a restaurant

noted for its expensive food, its sexy

waitresses, and for some very curious

clients. Curiosity, however, was dan-

gerous, possibly lethal, with people

like that. Murder and torture were

common adjuncts to their way of
