更喜欢前半部分对矿工生活的描写。 这是1936年，大英帝国的矿工仍生活在悲惨的境地之中，但不无改善的机会。面临法西斯的威胁，大战迫在眉睫。所以奥威尔在第二部分呼吁社会主义者要摒弃激进的做法，改善自身，秉持公正与自由，避免走向法西斯的相同道路。 尽管他的思想在今天...  

这本书我要给五星。 书的前半部分内容是奥威尔深入工业区，深入矿工工作生活之后的纪实文字，后半部分是引发的思考。 看到后来我激动的拿出了毛选第一本来比对，不禁感叹：在不同社会体制的国家，对产生过对如何实现社会主义的思考。只是“国情”不同，结局各异，时势造英雄。 ...  

终于才读到十二章的时候大概打算放弃了，就算是社会纪实也是时间空间都遥不可及的。然后放了几天。一次性读完了接下来的部分。后两章才是本书的重头戏吧，大意是关于纯理想化的乌托邦，充满了看似滑稽的必然和忧虑。还有共产主义必然性的说辞并没有说服我。很多观点还是很有想...
