真的比autumn还好看，书里描写了各种人际关系，每条线都很到位

Had me at "imagine being haunted by the ghost of a flower"/Dead like ur political soul;latent and revealing;There's meanness in meaning（聽到asked the train where it's going突然覺得很Hogwarts並意識到說TOOK the train實際上是不對的 同時提醒自己日常生活中思維還是要正常一點）"That’s what winter is: an exercise in remembering how to still yourself then how to come pliantly back to life again."

看到part2真的感受到渐入佳境。作者真的很喜欢铺垫，打破传统叙事顺序，插叙非常多。很喜欢她对Sophie和Iris之间对话的描写。（最喜欢对 太空狗、Art回忆故事是谁对他讲的、最后Art群发问题、转发Sophie和Iris的短信给对方 进行描述的情节，阴雨天猫在床上看，觉得很温暖。）

Ali最迷人的是故事没有确切的形状，在时间的重叠中寻找碎片，拼成什么样全凭心中所想。

打五星，并不是因为粉丝滤镜，我觉得这本比Autumn写的还好。小说不单致敬了《圣诞颂歌》，Arthur的身世之谜明显也是狄更斯性质的，最后他有了两个母亲，两个父亲，这俨然是另一个版本的how to be both故事。这次ali smith最了不起的地方是她抬出来了伟大的英国(文学)传统来对抗现时的多事之"秋"，以《辛白林》里夹着的玫瑰印迹(又像火焰的焰影)这一意象作为结尾竟让人有惊心动魄之感。
