麥剋·格雷涅茨（Michael Gregniec），1955年生於波蘭，在歐洲從事插圖工作，於1985年赴美國。1996年以《月亮的味道》獲得日本繪本奬，現居日本專門進行繪本創作。他曾發錶過《為什麼傷心/你在哪兒》、《小卡車，我等你》、《泰迪熊、陽光閃閃》、《彩虹色的花》、《神奇的圍巾》（阿萬紀美子文）等多部作品。
