took some patience to get used to the old style narrative, but was absolutely hooked by the chilling story, vivid description of the scenes. Funny that got a strong urge to communicate and comment on the men's behaviors while reading, was pathetic towards the women's sufferings.

首先這本書是在離開生活四個多月的颱北前在二手書店買的，買完晚上騎著單車吹著風感覺很好，讓它意義不同。其次，van helsing太囉嗦瞭！我以為結尾最關鍵的部分會寫很長，結果最期待的隻在最後幾頁。對於現代來的讀者來講，可能很難一整本書看完。
