為何我的眼裏常含淚水，因為我對這土地愛得深沉。質樸的語言歌唱勞動，歌唱生活，和土地結下的緣分在陽光下跳動，在稻香裏綿延。人永遠目送著往事離去，它們飄得越遠，越讓人追憶，積極的主鏇律中永遠夾雜著一絲這樣的惆悵和哀婉。書中描寫瞭三個人的肉體死亡和一個人的精神死亡。Alaxzandra對Emil和Marie持否定態度，讓我覺得她未免不近人情，但是Carl的勸慰非常暖心，對Frank的描寫讓人意外，三個人都沒有惡意，卻成就瞭彼此的悲劇。可能是剛看完Lolita的原因，覺得直白瞭一點，主題化瞭一點，有某些地方瓊瑤化瞭一點。

首先，当代读者应该明白这应该是一本以“父老乡亲”为阅读对象的小说所以这就决定了它情感上务必是通俗甚至有些煽情在设计上也很简单纯粹小说以半介入的程度描摹了一群准美国移民的生活图景和他们居住生态的变迁但是拓荒的经过似乎只是一带而过拓荒是怎样的筚路蓝缕也只...
