配合黄甲年译本读的，黄译得比胡婷婷好。能完全看懂这本书的英文说明你长难句过关，甚至对17世纪的英语都略有了解。作品本身表现手法一般，比较有意思的是叙述视角的四度转换。小说金句频出，写得丝毫不拖泥带水，最后的情节挺动人，感觉原本很多像shadow一样的角色突然都活了。还有一点想说的，本来我对Almond的善妒非常不以为然，直到后来看到Marguerite对Count de G的评价："He is one of those noble Lords who show us one side of their feelings but both ends of their wallets. " 原来Almond的妒忌正是他爱的尺度。
